EPA Highly recommends Project Monitors observe abatement activities performed by contractors and generally serve as a building owner representative to ensure abatement work is completed according to specification and in full regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Project Monitor should be fully trained in all aspects of the collection and analysis of air samples.
